The Q7 SUV is the second SUV from Audi’s Q series to be relaunched in India. In October last year, Audi launched the facelift version of the Q5. At the same time, both the Q5 and Q7 SUV’s were discontinued from the Indian market about two years ago due to the implementation of BS6 emission norms. Launched in India, this facelift model will take on rivals such as BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery in the Q7 car market.
What are the changes in engine power and speed
The Audi Q7 series SUV has now been launched according to the new emission norms, obviously, its engine will see major changes. Under which Audi has now removed diesel options from both the Q5 and Q7. The 2022 Q7 SUV now gets a BS 6 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged TFSI petrol engine along with a quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard.

This engine is available on both the trims, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. With its new engine, the Q7 facelift SUV generates a maximum power of 340 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm. Talking about speed, the earlier petrol model of Q7 gets 244 hp output and 370 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the new Q7 SUV can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in about six seconds, and has a top speed of 250kmph.
Changes in design too
Apart from the engine, the 2022 Audi Q7 facelift SUV has also received several cosmetic changes. The exterior of the new Q7 now gets a redesigned grille with a chrome frame, a new set of signature daytime running lights and matrix LED headlights, larger air intakes and a redesigned one with chrome treatment. Equipped with LED tail lights. Apart from this, 10.1-inch infotainment screen, 8.6-inch touchscreen have been given in the interior.
