On 14 May 2022, this former Australian player died in a road accident. According to the police report, Symonds’s car went off the road around 11 pm, due to which the accident happened. During that time he was alone in the car. Symonds played 26 Tests, 198 ODIs and 14 T20Is for Australia. During this, his bat scored 1462, 5088 and 337 runs respectively.
