According to the report of the local newspaper ‘Mirror’, after birth, the child started having trouble breathing. Due to which it soon became necessary to give him oxygen support. However, the hospital staff had accidentally given the child nitrous oxide instead of oxygen. Due to which he died in no time. Let us tell you that nitrous oxide is also known as laughing gas.
An investigation team of doctors noticed that laughing gas was kept in place of oxygen in the hospital for almost a year. When the doctors examined, they also found mention of another such incident. Due to which he concluded the whole matter. The incident took place on 13 July 2016 at the Operation Theater at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital in Sydney. The counsel for the victim told in the court that Yusuf and Sonya said that the death of the newborn child was due to the negligence of the doctors.
Sonya gave birth to her child through the operation. After birth, he started having trouble breathing. Due to which he had to be put on oxygen support. But due to the negligence of the hospital staff, Sonya and Yusuf lost their child.
