In the women’s doubles title match of the Australian Open 2022 tennis tournament, the top seeded pair of Barbara Krasikova and Katarina Siniakova defeated Ana Danilina and Beatriz Haddad Meiya in a tight match to win the title. Kreikova and Siniakova of Czech Republic defeated the unseeded pair of Danielina and Meia 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-4 in the final.
Talking about the match, the pair of Krasikova and Katrina made a strong comeback after losing the first set 6-7. Putting pressure on the opposition pair Ana Danielina and Beatriz Haddad Meiya, they won the next two sets by a 6-4 margin to win the match and with this the pair also clinched the title. The pair lost 2-6, 3-6 in the final against Elise Mertens and Arena Sabalenka in Melbourne last year.

Let us tell you that this pair of Czech Republic, who have won Wimbledon once and French Open twice before this, is the first Australian Open and fourth Grand Slam title of their career. The pair of Krasikova and Siniakova also won the women’s doubles title at the Tokyo Olympics.
