Lucknow. On the instructions of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it has been decided to celebrate ‘Ayushman Bharat Diwas’ as a festival. In this sequence, Principal Secretary Medical, Health and Family Welfare Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma has given to all the District Magistrates and Chief Medical Officers of the state for wide publicity of the scheme. The tag line of this day has been kept four years Ayushman…Health Amrit, Jan Samman. It is known that on September 23, four years of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are going to be completed.
Beneficiaries will be invited and informed about the scheme
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that on Ayushman Bharat Day, the four-year journey of the scheme and the upcoming strategies should be discussed by the nodal officers and other stakeholders of the scheme through discussion. Also, the measures to bring awareness to the scheme should be discussed. The Principal Secretary informed that discussion will also be held on providing Ayushman cards to more and more eligible beneficiaries. Full emphasis will also be given on increasing the participation of local public representatives on Ayushman Bharat Day. At the same time, Ayushman cards will be provided to 10 beneficiaries through local public representatives by organizing small functions. After verification of these 10 identified beneficiaries, a ‘prototype cutout’ of their Ayushman card will be made available to the beneficiaries through public representatives in the ceremony. The beneficiaries of nearby villages and wards will be invited to the function and made aware about the scheme in detail.
Hospital with special achievement will get a citation
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, two to five government and private sector hospitals of the district will be honored with a citation, which has treated the maximum number of beneficiaries of the scheme till 31 August 2022. Such hospitals marked in the ceremony will be awarded a citation through the District Magistrate. The list of hospitals with maximum achievement will be made available to the districts. Apart from this, five beneficiaries treated for tertiary care or any serious illness under the scheme have been asked to be identified and invited to the function. Their feedback (experience) will be taken in the function and they will also be honored. Wide publicity material of the scheme will also be displayed at the venue. Through banners, posters, hoardings, standees, flex boards, etc., information about the Ayushman scheme and the list of hospitals will be made available.
