Mumbai Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MNS supremo Raj Thackeray, who threatened to launch a campaign against Ajan on loudspeakers and announced a rally in Aurangabad on this issue, should now attend the Iftar party from Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen AIMIM. The invitation has been received. On the other hand, Aurangabad Police has given permission to Raj to rally with conditions. Earlier the district police had imposed section 144 to stop the rally. According to the news of the English newspaper ‘Indian Express’, Owaisi’s party MP from Aurangabad, Imtiaz Jaleel, has sent an invitation to Thackeray for Iftar.
Imtiaz says that he has given this invitation to Raj Thackeray as a way of trying for peace and goodwill in the city. Let us inform that Raj Thackeray had given an ultimatum to the Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra to remove loudspeakers from mosques by May 3. Raj had said that if this did not happen, his workers would read Hanuman Chalisa by placing loudspeakers in front of mosques from place to place. Raj had also praised CM Yogi Adityanath by tweeting for removing loudspeakers from mosques in UP and called the rulers of his state as beggars.
Meanwhile, according to a leader of Raj Thackeray’s party, Aurangabad Police has put 15 conditions for the rally. It has also denied talks of MNS alliance with BJP. Party leader Nitin Sardesai said that anything can happen in politics, but at present we are not discussing any alliance with BJP. BJP leader and former CM Devendra Fadnavis has also made a similar statement.
