ICC T20 Rankings: ICC has once again released a new T20 ranking. Suryakumar Yadav remains on number one position
In the new T20 rankings released by ICC, India’s Suryakumar Yadav remains number one with a rating of 861. He has been away from international cricket for some time now, yet there does not seem to be any threat to his position. England’s Phil Salt is at second place with a rating of 802. That means there is a huge difference between the first and second batsman.
Aiden Markram overtook Babar Azam
Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan recently completed the fastest 3000 runs in T20 International, he broke the records of Babar Azam and Virat Kohli, but even after this he does not seem to be getting any advantage in the latest rankings. His rating is 800. Meanwhile, South Africa’s Aiden Markram has moved one place ahead. He has now come at number four and his rating is 755. Pakistan captain Babar Azam has suffered a loss due to Markram. He has slipped one place to number 5.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also remains in the top 10
After the top 5 batsmen, India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is at sixth place, whose rating is currently 714. South Africa’s Riley Rousseau is at seventh place with a rating of 689. England’s Jos Buttler has now moved up one place to eighth position with a rating of 680. New Zealand’s Finn Allen has dropped one place to ninth position. His rating is 666. South Africa’s Reeza Hedricks still remains at number 10 with a rating of 660.
