Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed that from the first day of Navratri, a special campaign should be launched by the police department for women’s safety and anti-Romeo squads should be activated in all schools and colleges for the safety of daughters. According to the spokesperson, the Chief Minister has asked the Home Department to decide the priorities under the 100-day action plan and take action expeditiously. He told that Yogi has also given instructions to ensure the recruitment of at least 10,000 policemen in the police department in 100 days. Mission Shakti will start from April 10
Sehgal said that the Chief Minister said that from April 10, programs related to Mission Shakti would be started across the state, for which all preparations should be completed by the department. According to Sehgal, Yogi directed that women constables should be posted at beat level and by coordinating staff of all departments and communicating with women beat officers, they are being run by the state government for women. Attention should be given to the problems of women
Sehgal told that Yogi said that officers should start a massive campaign in urban wards and villages on one day of the week and solve the problems related to women in the village secretariat in a time bound manner. He told that Yogi has given instructions to run special campaigns in schools, colleges, markets and crowded places.
Illegal properties of criminals should be demolished
According to an official spokesperson, in the meeting, the Chief Minister said that security, orderliness and good governance are the priority of the state government, so the security arrangements should be further improved at all the faith centers and important places of the state. According to the spokesman, Yogi said that in the coming one year, proper establishment of police lines should be done in all the districts. Taking strict action against criminals and mafia, the Chief Minister directed to demolish and confiscate illegal properties, he said. According to the spokesperson, Yogi bluntly said that along with professional criminals, no concession should be made towards mining, liquor, animal, forest and land mafia. According to the spokesperson, the Chief Minister said that the work of setting up fire service at all tehsil headquarters should be completed by including it in the priorities of 100 days.
Make a list of top 10
The Chief Minister has directed to identify the top ten criminals in every police station and district and take strict action against them. According to the spokesperson, the Chief Minister said that the charge sheet should be reviewed and action should be ensured under the UP Gangster Act and Goonda Act. Emphasizing on the use of technology, Yogi instructed to take action for crime control, the spokesperson said. He said that the Chief Minister also asked for publicity and dissemination of success stories while ensuring effective operation of social media.
