Whether it is the cancellation of UGC NET exam or the case of paper leak in NEET exam, the transparency of NTA is surrounded by controversies. Meanwhile, an email of a professor from Latur has become a topic of discussion. Actually, in the month of April itself, a professor from Latur had sent an email to NTA. In the email, the professor had expressed the suspicion of rigging in the examination center. But NTA has not even responded to this mail. When the matter of NEET paper leak came to light in Latur, Latur police came into action mode and arrested two people. Also, the search for two accused is going on.
NTA did not respond to the professor’s email
On the other hand, the question that arises now is whether this scam could have been prevented? The professor from Latur had alerted NTA in an email sent to NTA that children from many districts of Maharashtra are going to take exams in other states. This is a very serious matter and he suspects that all the examination centers of the children who are taking exams in other states, that is, 800 to 1000 km away from their homes, may be compromised somewhere. Professor Dilip Deshmukh, who is the director of Rajarshi Shahu Junior Science College, spoke to India TV.
The professor gave examples
Giving examples, he said that some children had scored low marks in 2022. But in 2023, they took the exam in Belgaum, Karnataka and got very good marks. Deshmukh further said that due to all this, we had alerted NTA. There was no response from NTA. Deshmukh had written the email when the NEET exam had not been conducted. If NTA had shown a little awareness, perhaps the picture of the exam results would have been different.
