The dispute between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Twitter is not seeming to stop. Elon Musk has withdrawn from the Twitter deal, saying that he sent a message to Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal on June 28, expressing his displeasure at the attitude of Twitter’s lawyers. Elon Musk told Parag Aggarwal that the company’s lawyers were trying to create trouble by asking for financial details.
According to the report of news agency ANI, Elon Musk sent this message to the CEO of Twitter when Twitter asked Elon Musk how he would handle the Twitter deal. In response, Elon Musk reportedly wrote to Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal, “Your lawyers are using these conversations to create trouble. It needs to stop.”
Just a few days ago, Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been sued by Twitter for backing out of the deal. Twitter alleges that Elon Musk is trying to backtrack and is not fulfilling the terms of the deal on what he promised and the agreed amount.
Just a few days ago, Elon Musk said that I can’t buy Twitter because Twitter is not disclosing BOT. He wants to force me to buy Twitter through court but now he has to disclose BOT in court. Elon Musk announced the cancellation of the Twitter deal on July 8. He had alleged that Twitter was not giving correct information about BOT and hence he was canceling the Twitter deal.
Elon Musk announced the purchase of Twitter on April 13 and during this time everyone was shocked by his decision. Elon Musk decided to buy Twitter for US$54.20 per share. The deal was worth about $44 billion. But about 1 month after that i.e. on May 13, Elon Musk put the Twitter deal on hold and he told the BOT account the reason.
