Ottawa: Big information related to the murder of terrorist Hardeep Nijjar has come to light. Canadian police have arrested the fourth suspect in this case. This information has come out quoting the report of Canada based CBC News. It is noteworthy that Nijjar was murdered outside the Gurudwara in Surrey, British Columbia on June 18.

The accused has been identified as 22-year-old Amandeep Singh. According to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) in British Columbia, Amandeep Singh was already in police custody in Ontario. “IHIT has collected evidence and obtained sufficient information to charge Amandeep Singh with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder,” police said.
Police said Amandeep Singh is an Indian national who spends his time in Brampton, Ontario, Surrey, British Columbia and Abbotsford in Canada. Investigators have not released any further details of the arrest, citing the ongoing investigation and court processes, CBC News reports. This comes days after Canadian police arrested three Indian nationals Karan Brar, Kamalpreet Singh and Karanpreet Singh in Edmonton. All three were charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Let us tell you that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was designated a terrorist by the National Investigation Agency of India in 2020. He was shot dead as he came out of a Gurudwara in Surrey in June last year.
In September last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused India of involvement in the murder of Nijjar on Canadian soil. However, India rejected the allegations as “absurd and motivated”. According to the Foreign Ministry, Canada has not been able to present any evidence to prove its claim on this murder.
