New Delhi. The central government has given great relief to the passengers coming from abroad. Till now such passengers had to fill self-declaration form on Air Suvidha portal due to Corona. Now this rule has been abolished. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has told that from 22 November i.e. from today, the compulsion to fill the self-declaration form is over. Apart from this, the rule of showing certificate of taking corona vaccine and applying mask has also been abolished. If symptoms like corona are found in a passenger, then he will definitely have to stay in Quarantine. With this, the passengers have got freedom from a big rule.
In the announcement made by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, it has been said that now the cases of corona are decreasing. Along with the world, a lot of vaccination has been done in India as well. In such a situation, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has relaxed the rule made for passengers coming from abroad. If the corona increases again, then the government may decide to abolish this exemption again. The new rules of the Ministry of Health say that passengers coming from abroad will have to keep social distancing while getting off the plane or ship. Thermal screening will also be done at everyone’s entry.
Under the new rule, if symptoms of corona are seen in a passenger, he will be immediately quarantined. You may also have to be admitted to a medical facility. All the people coming to India from abroad will also have to do their own health monitoring continuously. If symptoms of corona are seen, then the National Helpline number 1075 has to be contacted. If you have gone to any state, then the health department there will also have to be informed. Earlier, the rule was that foreign travelers should fill the self-declaration form and tell that they do not have symptoms of corona. Along with this, information about vaccination also had to be given on the Air Suvidha portal. In which the date of vaccination and certificate also had to be uploaded.
