Amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024, BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan, candidate from Gorakhpur seat, has got a big relief. Mumbai’s Dindoshi Sessions Court has rejected the petition seeking DNA test of a 25-year-old woman claiming to be Ravi Kishan’s daughter. Shinova, the woman who filed the petition, had claimed that she is the daughter of Ravi Kishan. She had requested the court to conduct DNA test of Ravi Kishan and declare herself as his daughter. However, the court has rejected the woman’s petition.
What is the whole matter?
The petition filed in the court claimed that Aparna Soni and Ravi Kishan came into a relationship and got married in 1991, however, due to some personal problems, the two could not live together for a long time. The petition claims that she was born on October 19, 1998, but by then it was revealed that Kishan was already married. The woman had said that she wanted Ravi to adopt her and give his name as the father to the daughter.
The woman said in her petition that both of them took necessary care of her in all her times of need. However, recently when Shinova and Soni went to meet the BJP leader to wish him good luck for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he misbehaved and refused to meet them, the petition alleged.
Ravi Kishan’s wife had filed a case
Ravi Kishan’s wife had filed a complaint of blackmailing against the woman who made the accusation. Ravi Kishan’s wife Preeti Shukla had said that even a year ago, she had complained about blackmailing against this woman to Mumbai Police. At the time of elections, a conspiracy is being hatched to tarnish the image of Ravi Kishan who is contesting the elections by making allegations against the woman.
