VC of 9 universities had filed a petition in the High Court
Let us tell you that the Education Department had organized meetings several times in which even once the Vice Chancellor of any university did not attend the meeting. After this, KK Pathak froze the accounts of all the universities and froze the salaries and pensions of officers and employees. There were continuous protests on the whole matter and even after correspondence from Raj Bhavan, KK Pathak did not agree. Frustrated, the VCs of 9 universities of the state filed a petition in the High Court, after which this order was given in the hearing. Now the next hearing will be held again on May 17.
