Actually, voting for the 11th and final phase was being held in Chigri village of Chigri Simraha Panchayat of Kusheshwarsthan block of Darbhanga district. During this, as soon as the information about the bogus voting was received, the District Magistrate decided to cancel the polling at booth numbers 151 and 152.
Eyewitnesses said that the agitated mob ran and beat the magistrate and also gheraoed the police force. Four people have been injured during this incident.
