New Delhi. RJD has elected its new president on Sunday during the national convention of RJD in Delhi. On the other hand, there is still a tussle going on in the National Congress regarding the party president. RJD has made Lalu Prasad Yadav its national president unopposed for the 12th time in a row. Apart from Lalu, no one had filed nomination, so he was made the national president unopposed.
It is worth noting that today a national convention of RJD is being held in Delhi. But only state president Jagdanand Singh has not attended this conference. According to sources, he has refused to participate citing ill health. While commenting on this, BJP has described Jagdanand Singh as suffering from son’s attachment.
Talking about this, BJP spokesperson Arvind Kumar Singh took a dig at RJD state president Jagdanand Singh for not attending the party’s national convention in Delhi and said that like Lalu Yadav, he too is suffering from son attachment. In fact, Sudhakar Singh, son of Jagdanand Singh, was forced to resign from the post of Agriculture Minister. According to sources, this is why Jagdanand Singh is said to be angry with RJD.
