On Friday, NCP leader Sharad Pawar made a big attack on BJP. Sharad Pawar said- The government running the country is using central agencies heavily in Maharashtra and West Bengal because they have to form the government there at any cost. During this, Sharad Pawar also launched a scathing attack on MNS chief Raj Thackeray and said that some parties want to create an atmosphere of tension in the state. Sharad Pawar was actually reacting to the statement of MNS in which Raj Thackeray had said that by May 3, loudspeakers should be removed from all mosques in the state. If this does not happen, then their workers will play Hanuman Chalisa and Bhajan at the time of Namaz by placing loudspeakers in front of the mosque.
Responding to a question about MNS, Sharad Pawar said that there is no use in talking about a party which has been rejected by the people in the elections. Sharad Pawar also said that Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress together, Maha Vikas Angadi is going to contest elections once again in 2024. Regarding the ED raids, Sharad Pawar said that the elected representatives in two states are not allowing the BJP to form the government in those states, so these raids are taking place.
Significantly, last week, the ED had raided the premises of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. Regarding these raids, Sharad Pawar had met PM Narendra Modi and said that injustice is being done to senior MPs. Sharad Pawar went to the PM’s office and met PM Modi. During this, he was accompanied by Lok Sabha member PP Mohammad Faisal. Sharad Pawar said that during his meeting with the PM, he had raised the issue of targeting of Sanjay Raut by central agencies and the inaction of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in the State Governing Council regarding the proposal of the Maharashtra government.
