Bhopal. In Madhya Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its preparations for the assembly elections to be held next year. Now its eyes are on the tribal vote bank and this is the reason why prominent leaders of the party are visiting the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going to visit Bhopal on 22 April. In this way, in the last seven months, this will be the third visit of a senior party leader to the state. Madhya Pradesh has more than 20 percent tribal population and this population has a big impact on the state elections. BJP’s effort is to win the heart of this class. Of the 230 assembly seats in the state, 47 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes category. By the way, this category affects more than 80 seats according to the population. If we talk about 47 seats reserved for this category, then in the elections held in the year 2018, BJP could win only 17 of these seats and 30 seats went to Congress’s account.
The BJP is continuously increasing its contact with the tribals at the grassroots level. Despite this, the prominent leaders of the party feel that the activism of national level leaders is also necessary in the state. This is the reason that in the month of September last year, the Union Home Minister participated in the program related to the tribal class organized in Jabalpur. After that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to come to the program organized in Bhopal on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day on 15 November. Now once again on April 22, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Bhopal and he will distribute bonus to the Tendu leaves collectors and participate in the program of forest committees.
People belonging to tribal class are being invited from all over the state in the program to be held in Bhopal on 22nd April, on this occasion the culture of tribals and their splendor will also be displayed. There is a possibility that a big announcement can be made for the tribals on this occasion.
This visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah is being linked to the BJP’s mission 2023 because elections are going to be held in many states in the coming time, including Gujarat, where elections are held this year, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh next year. Assembly elections will be held in These are the states where tribals play a big role. As a result, the BJP has intensified efforts to keep the political mathematics in its favor.
