New Delhi. The electric car BMW iX, which will be launched in India next week on December 13, has done a great job even before its launch in the country. This electric car from BMW has recently scored a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test to test the safety of the car, passing all the test categories. The estimated price of this electric car is Rs 1 crore.

This test has also proved the effectiveness of the new interactive airbag between the driver and front passenger seats in the BMW iX. Along with this, it has also been proved that in case of a side collision, this car gets extra safety against injury. Not only this, in the event of a collision from the front and rear side of this electric SUV, this car has got a 5 star rating on the safety scale. Due to the stable body and extended restraint system of this car, excellent safety is available. Along with this, the wonderfully advanced driver assistance system also reduces the risk of accidents.
Design and Features
The BMW iX gets a stylish look with a luxury design. Along with luxurious exteriors, this car gets the best and comfortable interiors. The company has used an attractive dashboard with hexagonal shaped steering wheel for this car. It gets a dual-display setup with a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen system loaded with BMW’s new iDrive 8 infotainment software. Apart from this, 4D audio, 5G mobile connectivity, sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), lane keep assist, front collision warning, remote-theft recorder and many more features are included in this electric car.

On behalf of the company, 2 options of 71kWh and 105kWh battery pack have been given in BMW iX. The 71kWh battery pack gives the car a range of 425 kms and the 105kWh battery pack gives the car a range of 630 kms. The car gets 200W fast-charging feature, which takes only 40 minutes to charge the battery from 0-80%.
