Germany’s leading automaker BMW has today launched a new facelift model of its famous car BMW X3 in the Indian market. Adorned with a very attractive look and strong engine capacity, this new car has been introduced with many major changes. The price of its base variant has been fixed at Rs 59.90 lakh and for the top variant at Rs 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
BMW has made many changes from the exterior to the interior of this car. Talking about the exterior, the company has used an aggressive kidney front grille, which is decorated with chrome. It also gets new LED headlamps, redesigned bumper, integrated LED daytime running lights, wider air intakes, sporty fog lamp housing, and redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels.

Other highlights include new LED tail lamp inserts with sharper styling and a restyled rear bumper. The interiors of the facelifted BMW X3 get the most upgrades as it gets gesture controls, a new floating 12.35-inch touchscreen infotainment system with revised controls, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument console with a new interface, etc.
The company has given a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of 4 cylinders, which generates power of 252 hp and torque of 350 Nm. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. This car does not come in the market with a diesel engine. Features in the car include three-zone automatic climate control, hands-free parking, new 360-degree camera, BMW virtual assistant, cruise control, Harman Kardon audio in the M Sport variant, panoramic sunroof etc.

The BMW X3 has been available for sale in the Indian market for a long time now, and the company hopes that its new facelift model will be able to attract customers. In terms of price and features in the Indian market, this car mainly competes with models like Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60.
