South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India has released a new advertisement featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Indian women cricketers Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Tania Bhatia and Shafali Varna, showing the company its Alcazar model. In the ad released by the company, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a driver to ferry famous cricketers.
While Shah Rukh Khan has been associated with Hyundai Motor India for decades, the Korean carmaker recently joined hands with four women cricketers, and this new ad campaign is part of that association. Hyundai Alcazar was launched in India in 2021 and so far it has performed quite well in the Indian market.
Recently the company increased the price
To recall, Hyundai has recently hiked the prices of almost all the models in its lineup, with the petrol variant of the Alcazar seeing a price hike of Rs 14,000, while the base diesel variant has seen the highest increase of Rs 22,000. has been seen. The Alcazar is a longer version of the company’s popular Creta, which is equipped with a 1.5-litre diesel motor and 2.0-litre petrol motor. Price wise, the base trim of the Alcazar is around Rs 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh compared to the base variant of the Creta. Rs. is more expensive.

These vehicles compete
The Hyundai Alcazar also gets an option between a six- or seven-seat layout with automatic and manual transmissions. In the Indian car market, Alcazar competes with Tata’s Safari and Mahindra XUV700. At the same time, it will also compete with the upcoming Kia Carens. The company recently opened bookings for 25,000 for the Carence, which can be launched in February.
