New Delhi. A threat was given from Pakistan to bomb 10 schools in Ahmedabad. The Crime Branch has made a big disclosure in this matter and said that the e-mail that was sent to the schools had actually come from Pakistan. The crime branch has found out through the IP address that the mail had come. However, the senders of the mail were clever and used Russian domains. The crime branch is still investigating further in this matter.
It is noteworthy that on May 6, a threatening e-mail was sent to 10 schools including DPS, Anand Niketan, Udgam School, Calorex School and Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in which it was said that there is a bomb in your school. After this there was panic in the entire city. The school administration immediately took the children out of the school and evacuated the school. Police, anti-bomb squad and different crime teams reached these schools and conducted an intensive search operation. However, nothing suspicious was found from any school. After which it was told that this was a fake threat.
Earlier on May 1, a similar mail was sent to about 100 schools in Delhi-NCR in which it was said that there were bombs in the schools. Here too, the schools were immediately evacuated and an intensive search operation was conducted in which nothing suspicious was found anywhere. Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena himself, after visiting several schools, had said that I want to assure the public that Delhi Police is fully prepared and we will try to prevent any untoward incident from happening. The LG said that criminals will not be spared and strictest action will be taken against whoever is involved in this. In both these incidents, the IP address of the mail sent was showing as Russia. But now the Crime Branch has said about Pakistan’s connection in this case.
