A police officer said that Arjun Yashwant Singh, originally from Rajasthan, used to do small jobs in the Sarhar area. He had borrowed Rs 100 from his friend Manoj Marajkole. An officer of VP Road police station said that on Thursday night, when both were intoxicated, there was a fierce fight between the two over a loan. After the quarrel Arjun Yashwant Singh Sarhar went to sleep near the Madhav Bhawan complex. After this, in the early hours of Friday, Manoj Marajkole killed Arjun by attacking him on the head with a cement brick.
Marajkole fled from the spot after carrying out the incident. After getting information about the incident, police officials reached the spot. After inspecting the spot, Manoj Marajkole was searched and after some time he was caught.
The police officer said that the accused has been sent to police custody till Tuesday. Advance action is being taken.
