Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh while talking to the media said that when Amit Shah calls me, he will go to meet him. He also said that Amit Shah is our leader, but there will be no talk with him regarding wrestling. Brij Bhushan said that the newly elected President of WFI Sanjay Singh is doing his work and he will do his work. Brijbhushan Sharan Singh also said that he has completely retired from wrestling and sports politics. He said what to do and what not to do is the job of the Federation and he has nothing to do with it.
Let us tell you that after Sanjay Singh was elected president of the wrestling association, wrestler Sakshi Malik had announced her retirement from the sport. At the same time, wrestler Bajrang Punia had decided to return his Padma Shri award. After this Sanjay Singh had talked about organizing wrestling competitions. For this, approval was not even taken from the executive of the union. Due to which the government took immediate action and suspended the entire executive of WFI and Sanjay Singh. Only after the suspension of Sanjay Singh, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had said on Sunday that he is retiring from sports politics. Today the same thing has been reiterated once again by the former President of WFI. A case is going on in Delhi court against Brij Bhushan for sexual harassment of female wrestlers.
