Amidst the news of suicide and disappearance of students here, another big bad news has come to light. In Kota, a class 12 student was brutally murdered by slitting her throat in her own house. The family members found his blood stained body lying in the house. As soon as this information was received, sensation spread in the entire area. There was a gathering of people there.
According to the police, this incident of murder of the student took place on Tuesday evening in Keshavpura police station area of Kota city. There, seventeen and a half year old student Poonam was brutally murdered by slitting her throat. The reasons for the murder and the accused are not yet known. Poonam had recently given her 12th class exam. Family members say that their daughter’s throat was slit with a sharp weapon. When his brother came home, the main gate was not locked from inside. No one knows who the attacker was or where he came from. At that time only Poonam’s sister-in-law was at home.
A crowd gathered at the student’s house
The news of the murder of the student spread like wildfire in the entire area and people gathered there. Late night, Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan and a large number of officers including additional police reached there. He inspected the spot. After that local MLA Sandeep Sharma also reached there. During this, the police officers interrogated the suspicious people and the family members of the student for three and a half hours. The crowd remained there till late night. The crowd present at the spot looked quite angry.
Police took one or two suspects into custody
After that the police picked up the body and took it to the local hospital. On Wednesday morning, post-mortem of the body was done and it was handed over to the family members. The police have collected evidence from the spot through the dog squad and FSL team. One or two suspects have been detained in this case. they are being interrogated. The police is investigating the entire matter from all angles.
