Force Motors launched the off-road SUV Gurkha on September 27 at an introductory price of Rs 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The same in its new generation, the Gurkha has been upgraded with design changes and new technology to take on the Mahindra Thar SUV.

Feature highlights of the Gurkha include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power windows, a three-spoke steering wheel, a four-speaker sound system, a manual AC and tire pressure monitoring system.
As an engine, this car is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine, which generates 90 Bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard that sends power to all wheels via a 4WD setup with low-range transfer.

5-Door Force Gurkha
The company is preparing a 5-door version of the Force Gurkha, which will be longer than the existing 3-door version of the SUV. This new SUV will come with more space for the rear seat occupants and better luggage. Let me tell you, a testing mule of a 5-door Gurkha was recently caught on camera for the first time. The prototype sported almost the same design as the current model except for a few key differences.
