Now customers can finance electric scooter very easily. With this new partnership, the company claims, customers can opt for two-wheeler financing at Hero Electric’s wide network of over 750+ dealers. Through this partnership, Hero Electric customers can now avail a range of finance facilities with minimal documentation.
As a financial partner, Axis Bank will provide customers with customized loan amounts as well as additional flexibility of tenure. Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, “In the last few months, we have seen a boom in the demand for electric vehicles. The company says that, while further easing two-wheeler ownership, we are expanding our personalized funding options, thus making it easier for customers to purchase a new electric vehicle. The company aims to promote the spread of electric vehicles in urban areas as well as rural areas and this is the reason why the company is partnering with different banks to provide better financing facilities.
The demand for electric vehicles in the country has seen a lot in the last few years. During this time many veteran players have entered the market. Apart from Bajaj Auto and TVS, now cab service provider company Ola is also filling the market with its electric scooter. At the same time, startups have increased the competition in the market even more.
