New Delhi. By-elections were held on October 30 for three Lok Sabha seats and 29 assembly seats in 13 states and union territories (By election result 2021) of the country. After this, the counting of votes for these seats is going on on Tuesday, November 2. The process started at eight in the morning.
The Election Commission has declared five seats in Assam, four in West Bengal, three each in Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, two each in Bihar, Karnataka and Rajasthan and one each in Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Mizoram and Telangana. Assembly by-election was held for

TMC ahead in West Bengal too
By-elections have also been held in West Bengal. Voting was held on October 30 for Dinhata, Khardaha, Gosaba (SC), and Shantipur assembly seats here. There is a contest between Trinamool Congress and BJP. However, TMC is currently leading.
BJP ahead in Assam and Karnataka
In the assembly by-elections held in 13 states, BJP is leading in three seats in Assam and one in Karnataka.
