Shivpuri. After the order of the High Court in Narwar, the elections are going to be completed. Voting will be held on March 6 and the campaigning came to an end on Friday. Congress and BJP gave full force for the election, counting of votes will take place on March 9.
In the Municipal Council elections to be held on March 6, 16272 voters in 15 wards will reach 28 centers and exercise their franchise. 94 candidates are in the fray for victory in 15 wards. But the main contest is between Congress and BJP. The dilemma of Scindia supporters who joined BJP is that his supporters and friends in both Congress and BJP are contesting the elections. There is a contest between Hanumant Singh BJP and Congress candidate Meena Singh from Ward No. In Ward No. 2, Vidyadevi of BJP is fighting a battle of victory and defeat against Lalita Kushwaha of Congress. In Ward No. 3, there is a contest between Congress candidate Sapna Kushwaha and BJP candidate Rekha Kushwaha. In Ward No. 4, Laxman Kushwaha of BJP is contesting against Balkishan of Congress. Ward number 5 is in turmoil, where BJP’s Ruchi Manoj Maheshwari and Congress’s Devendra Jain are face to face. In Ward No. 6, Padma Maheshwari, wife of BJP leader Sandeep Maheshwari, is facing an independent candidate. Ward no 7 is a struggle between BJP’s Rakesh Soni and Congress’s Rakesh Singh Rawat Ward 8 is between Mulayam Singh of BJP and Govind Singh Kushwaha of Congress. There is fierce fighting in all the wards.
