‘Where is there any prohibition in giving certificate to oneself?’
When India TV Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma asked him whether Kejriwal was arrested because he was the only leader who could challenge Narendra Modi? Responding to this, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ‘Where are you prohibited from giving your certificate yourself? You had gone to Kashi to fight, but you lost. You went to Gujarat and found that a new lion of Gujarat has come. Went to challenge Narendra Modi and got a seat. You are not able to win a single Lok Sabha seat in Delhi. Yes, it is true that he won the assembly.
Politics does not work with arrogance and conceit
Ravi Shankar Prasad further said that ‘I only want to say that now the politics of such arrogance and arrogance does not work. This is public and everyone knows. Trust them. To say that I will run my government from jail, which has never happened before in our country. He said that ‘democracy works with honesty. If a Magsaysay Award winner, IIT graduate and disciple of Anna Hazare will say such a thing then it is the height of shamelessness and what will I say? On the question of misuse of ED behind the arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal, he said that I will not say anything about this because this is the work of ED.
