Global NCAP conducted crash testing of Kia Motors’ MPV Kia Carens and gave the Carens a 3 star rating. As per the new protocols, Carens has received a 3 star rating in both adult occupant and child occupant protection categories. 6 airbags are provided as standard feature in Carens. The ex-showroom price of Kia Carens ranges from Rs 10.52 lakh to Rs 19.67 lakh.
Honda Amaze 2 star rating
Global NCAP conducted a crash test of Honda’s compact sedan Amaze. The car has been given a 2 star safety rating in this test. Honda Amaze got 2 stars in the Adult Vehicle Protection category. At the same time, it got zero rating in child occupant protection. The ex-showroom price of Honda Amaze ranges from Rs 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh.
Mahindra’s Bolero Neo got bad rating
Mahindra & Mahindra’s compact SUV Bolero Neo got a very poor rating in the crash test of Global NCAP. Bolero Neo has got only 1 star rating. As per the new Global NCAP protocols, Bolero Neo received a 1 star rating in both adult and child occupant protection categories, which is quite poor in terms of safety rating. The current ex-showroom price of Mahindra Bolero Neo ranges from Rs 9.90 lakh to Rs 12.15 lakh.
