Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the RTO office located in the capital Dehradun. There was a stir when the Chief Minister suddenly reached the RTO at around ten in the morning.
Officers and employees had arrived in very small numbers
During the Chief Minister’s raid, officers and employees had arrived in very small numbers. During this 80 percent of the employees were found absent. Angered by this, the Chief Minister took action. During this, the Chief Minister suspended RTO Dinesh Pathoi. During the surprise inspection, the Chief Minister found that the general public was present in the RTO office since 9 am for the work related to their vehicles, but the Chief Officer of the RTO, Dinesh Chandra Pithoi was not present in the office except a few employees. Along with him, many employees were not present even though it was 10:30 in the morning.
Seeing the negligence of the office staff and the officer, the Chief Minister has given instructions to suspend RTO Dinesh Chandra Pathoi. Giving instructions to Transport Secretary Arvind Singh Hyanki said that all the employees are not present despite having time. Strictest action should be taken against them. In this matter, Secretary Transport Arvind Singh Hyanki and Transport Commissioner Ranbir Singh Chauhan along with Secretary Chief Minister Meenakshi Sundaram have been summoned by Chief Minister Dhami to the Secretariat.
