Lucknow. Increasing industrial investment in UP is now the priority of the Yogi government. Under which, now making land easily available to the investor who has taken the initiative to invest in the state has become the new agenda of the Chief Minister.
To fulfill this, it has been decided that to speed up the infrastructure projects in the state and to make land easily available to the investors, land mapping will be done in every district. It includes from forest area to road and gram sabha land. So that investors can be provided land for setting up the enterprise. Not only this, the data of all these will be loaded in the portal made under the Prime Minister’s Gati Shakti Abhiyan.
According to the information received from the state government, 10 departments will link all their permission and no-objection certificates to the Gati Shakti NP portal. On this portal, mapping for water supply, pipeline, sewer line and drainage in urban areas of UP will be done and its information will be shared.
Mapping of all the tourist places and places of archaeological importance will also be done in the state. Expressways, highways and roads will also be mapped. In collaboration with the Public Works Department and UPEDA, the mapping of expressways, highways and other roads will be done and its data will be uploaded. The government is of the opinion that the pace of industrial investment can be increased by providing land along the expressway and highway.
This exercise to promote industrial investment in the state is related to the third ground breaking ceremony to be held in Lucknow on June 3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and heads of big industrial houses of the country will participate in this program. In their presence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will announce the projects to be started in the state at a cost of Rs 75,000 crore. Along with this, he will tell what new policies the UP government will bring for industrial investment. What steps the government is taking to make land easily available for setting up enterprises will also be told. So that maximum industrial investment can be brought in the Investor Summit to be held in the state next year. The Yogi government held the Investor Summit in the year 2018, in which 1045 investment proposals worth Rs 4.68 lakh crore were received. Now the Chief Minister wants the state to get investment proposals worth more than ten lakh crore rupees in the Investor Summit to be held next year, for this he has focused on making land easily available to the investors. Along with this, the government has started work on the strategy to promote investment in ODOP and MSME sector.
Additional Chief Secretary said that many easy provisions have been made for the investors in UP. Due to the convenience, people from many industrial houses are getting attracted.
