Cyber attacks on the hospitals of the capital Delhi have increased in the past. First there was a cyber attack on AIIMS and then on Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital. Now an FIR has been registered on the cyber attack in Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. In this FIR it was clearly said that this cyber attack was done by China. Of the 100 servers in the hospital, 40 were physically hacked and 60 were virtually hacked. The data of five of these servers has been successfully recovered from the hackers. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) gave this information on Wednesday (December 14).
Let us tell you that on November 25 last month, the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of Delhi Police had registered a complaint of extortion and cyber terrorism. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is now probing the Target ransomware attack. Along with NIA, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Delhi Cyber Crime Cell, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination, Intelligence Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation are also probing the cyber attack.
CFSL’s help was taken in the investigation
