New Delhi. The bugle of Lok Sabha elections has sounded in the country. Hajipur Lok Sabha seat is being discussed the most in Bihar where there is discord between uncle and nephew i.e. Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras. Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan has announced that he will contest elections from Hajipur seat only. Let us tell you that in the seat distribution of NDA, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has got five seats including Hajipur.
#WATCH LJP (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan said, “…Discussion is going on on the names of the candidates, some names have been suggested by the Bihar Parliamentary Board and that has also been discussed…I myself am contesting the election as an NDA candidate from Hajipur seat. I will fight.” pic.twitter.com/aZyKz2zaML

Chirag himself announced this after the party’s parliamentary board meeting. Chirag said, I will contest the Lok Sabha elections as an NDA candidate from Hajipur. Chirag said, I am thankful to the party’s parliamentary board that they have authorized me to take all decisions related to the Lok Sabha elections. The names of all five candidates will be announced in the next two to four days. Without taking the name of uncle Pashupati Paras, Chirag said that those who had left the party or family, it is up to them to decide whether to come back. Chirag said that Hajipur has been the workplace of my leader, my father. Now I have to fulfill his dreams. Chirag’s father Ram Vilas Paswan was a nine-time Lok Sabha MP from Hajipur seat. After his death, Pashupati became MP by contesting elections from Hajipur.
On Pashupati Paras’ statement of contesting elections from Hajipur, Chirag said that he has always said that he will be with Prime Minister Modi, so now he has to decide whether he will support NDA in its goal of getting 400 seats or create obstacles. Let us tell you that Pashupati Paras, angry over not getting even a single seat in NDA’s seat distribution, has resigned from the Modi cabinet a day before on Tuesday, although Pashupati Paras is silent on the question of leaving NDA. What will be the next stand, will he remain in NDA or will rebel and contest from Hajipur seat opposite to Chirag, only time will tell.
