Goa CM Pramod Sawant said, I met PM Modi today, had an election discussion. We will form the government with maximum seats… I think I will be given a chance to serve once again as the Chief Minister of Goa…. Most exit polls show BJP victory. We will form the government with the support of independent and regional parties. The central leadership will hold talks with them regarding their demands, seek MGP’s support if needed.
Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar said, Congress will be ahead in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa. Our party will come to power in Goa with a majority. I will be in Goa to help my party leaders.
Congress Goa in-charge Dinesh Rao said, sometimes exit polls do not predict the correct numbers. We’ve done our assessment from groundwork and from our own sources. We are confident that the Congress will get an absolute majority, and will be able to form a government in alliance with the Goa Forward (Party).
According to Congress leader Deependra Hooda, we are sure that people in all 5 states have voted against the arrogant government. Congress will form government on its own in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa. Change will happen in UP and government will be formed with the support of Congress.
