Jaipur. Chunni Jaipuri, a well-known folk singer from Rajasthan, enthralled the audience with melodious renditions when she presented Rajasthani folk songs in her own style in a series of Net-Theatre programmes.
Rajendra Sharma Raju of Net-Theatre told that Chunni Jaipuri has captivated the audience on the big stage of the country and abroad, this was the first time that after almost 20 years, through the live platform of Net-Theat, he connected with the audience. I was stunned to know about the beginning of this web theater in Rajasthan and its journey of two years. Chunni Jaipuri started the program with Bhulyai Mhari Soorma Ki Daabi in Mahalan. Everyone was mesmerized when the popular Rajasthani folk song Neem ki Nimboli Mhare Aadad Jaye was narrated. After this, Jijaji Thara Toliya’s Hira Moti Latke Nadan Saali Ko Man Bhatke Se and another song based on Jija Saali’s song Sunto Jaje Re Jijaji Mhari Baatli made the audience intoxicated with the fun joke of brother-in-law. In the end, O Chhelo to Marwar, went to Calcutta and made the atmosphere popular by singing Basgyo.
The program was conducted by R. D Agarwal. The effective accompaniment of Sher Khan on harmonium and Hanuman Sahay on dholak added chard to this program of folk songs. Tabla Amanat Ali Soujas, Harmonium Shabbir Kha Soujas, Sarangi Firstas Ali Soujas Camera Jitendra Sharma, Prakash Manoj Swamy, Stage Decoration Ghriti Sharma, Ankit Sharma Nonu and Jivitesh Sharma Music by Vishnu Jangid.
