West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is taking out a protest march in Kolkata today. Bengali citizens are protesting against discrimination in BJP ruled states amid rain. Many top leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress, including Abhishek Banerjee, are also attending this protest march. Amidst the incessant rains in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee and her party leader are taking out a three-kilometer long march amid the slogans of ‘BJP Chhi’.

During this period, about 1500 policemen have been deployed. Meanwhile, Mamta Banerjee said that I am disappointed with the attitude of the Government of India. The Government of India has issued a notification. We will challenge this notification. The notification states to arrest the suspected Bangladeshis and keep them in the detention camp. This notification has been issued in BJP ruled states.

Let us know that this protest march is being taken out in Jharsuguda, Odisha, after the incident of detaining 444 suspected Bangladeshi citizens. TMC claims that 200 of these 444 Bangladeshi citizens were migrant laborers from Bengal.
