People were waiting for this for some time now. While the demand for electric vehicles is increasing due to the high price of petrol and diesel in the country, now the demand for CNG vehicles is also increasing gradually. Due to this, Maruti Suzuki has also launched the CNG version of the Celerio that was launched a few months back.

1. Engine and Gearbox
The 1 liter K10C dual jet engine has been used in the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio. Due to this, the car gets 57hp power and 82.1Nm torque. However, it is 10hp and 6.9Nm less than the petrol version. This car gets a 5 speed gearbox with manual transmission. Automatic transmission option is also available in the petrol version. However, the CNG version will get better mileage than the petrol version.

2. Interior and Exterior
The interiors and exteriors of the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio haven’t made any significant changes, unlike the petrol version. Some of the changes made include the use of an S-CNG badge at the front of the car and some reduction in cargo space. Apart from this, all the features of the petrol version will also be seen in this CNG version.
3. How much will it cost?
Buying the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio will cost a starting price of Rs 6.58 lakh, which is higher than the price of the petrol version. The starting price of the petrol version (base trim variant) is Rs 4.98 lakh.
