At the same time, Tata is going to launch the CNG variants of its Tiago and Tigor tomorrow. According to the report, the Tata CNG cars are not likely to get any cosmetic updates, but mechanical changes will definitely be made in them. Let us elaborate on the CNG variants of the upcoming Tata Tiago and Tigor:
Both the cars that will be launched by the company will come with factory-fitted CNG kit, which will allow it to run on both petrol and CNG options. To differentiate the CNG vehicles from the standard model, only the cars will have CNG badging. At the same time, a 2-litre Revotron petrol engine will be used under their hood. This engine will be mated to the same five-speed manual gearbox. Let us tell you, in the standard Tiago and Tigor, this engine generates 85 bhp power and 113 Nm torque. However, the power and torque figures will be slightly lower in the CNG variant.
Increased demand for CNG vehicles
