New Delhi. West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has been accused of sexual harassment by a female employee of Raj Bhavan. The woman has given her complaint to the police in this regard. It is being told that this woman works on contract in Raj Bhavan. The woman has lodged a complaint at Hare Street police station in Kolkata. After the matter came to light, TMC leaders made a series of social media posts against the Governor. In the statement issued by Raj Bhavan, it has been said that ‘agents of political parties have made disgusting allegations against him’ for electoral benefits.
Angered by the social media posts and statements of TMC leaders and ministers, the Governor has boycotted the ministers of the West Bengal government. He has banned the ministers from entering the Raj Bhavan. He has banned ministers from entering the Raj Bhavan not only in Kolkata but also in Darjeeling and Barrackpur. He said that the Governor will not attend programs in which ministers will attend. Raj Bhavan has said in the statement that if the police come to investigate this matter, then restrictions are also imposed on them. An FIR cannot be filed against the Governor under Section 361 of the Constitution.

Let us tell you that there has been tension between the West Bengal government and the Governor for a long time. Mamta government has accused the Governor of creating obstacles in the work. Last year, Governor CV Anand Bose had made serious allegations against the state government of even spying on him. The Governor had claimed that he had reliable information regarding espionage in the Governor House in Kolkata. He said that the concerned department has been informed about this. Like the previous Governor, CV Anand also had sour relations with the Mamata Banerjee government.
