Since then, there has been a demand for appointment of the President in the party and convening of the Congress Working Committee meeting soon. Manish Tewari and Kapil Sibal held a meeting at Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house. In fact, these three leaders were part of the G-23 group which had written to party president Sonia Gandhi and demanded that the party should elect a permanent president.
