New Delhi. A provision has been made in the constitution to give 10 percent reservation to the economically backward people, but a petition was filed in the court recently, challenging the provision of giving reservation to the economically backward people. Although, there was a hearing on this in the past, but the decision was reserved, but today i.e. on Monday, the hearing was held again. Let us inform that a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court heard the petition, in which with a 3:2 decision, it was decided to uphold the reservation given to the economically backward people.
Justice M Bela Trivedi, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari and Justice Pardiwala endorsed the provision of 10 per cent reservation for economically backward people, but a bench of Justices UU Lalit and Ravindra Bhat disagreed. Let us tell you that on the said decision, all the judges have presented their arguments on their consent and disagreement. Now the Supreme Court’s decision is being interpreted in different ways, some are calling it beneficial to the people, while some are criticizing the court’s decision. Not only this, Udit Raj even called the Supreme Court a casteist. Come on and tell you who said what?

Supreme Court is casteist, still no doubt! When it came to EWS reservation, how was it reversed that the 50% limit is not a constitutional obligation, but whenever it came to give reservation to SC/ST/OBC, the 50% limit in Indira Sawhney case was cited.

It is a big scam to make a bench of 5 upper caste judges to give a verdict on the upper caste EWS reservation. #casteist_collegium pic.twitter.com/zDHNI1aOJw

Supreme Court upholds the legality of EWS reservation for unreserved sections . Another big credit for PM Sri @narendramodi ‘s vision of Gareeb Kalyan. A big boost in the direction of social justice.

A pathbreaking decision: SC has delivered a historic verdict on validity of Constitution Amendment providing 10% #EWSquota in #admissions, #government jobs. Big achievement for @NarendraModi Ji’s Govt that is committed to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”#EWS

Supreme Court Upholds EWS Quota.
Let’s make it very clear; whosever is against #EWS is against “Real Social Justice”, not concerned about Fake SJWs..

A huge victory for Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi‘s pro-people governance as Hon’ble Supreme Court upholds the legality of the 103rd Amendment to the Indian Constitution reserving 10% seats in educational institutions and government jobs for economically weaker sections (EWS). 1/2
