Corona: Number of infected increased again amid relief, 223 people died in last 24 hours, active cases below 90 thousand

After two days of relief, today the cases of corona increased again. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, 7,554 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is 639 more than yesterday. At the same time, 223 people died during this period. The biggest relief is that now only 85,680 active cases are left in the country. The drastic reduction in active cases means that corona infected patients are recovering rapidly. At the same time, the total number of patients who have recovered since the beginning of the epidemic has gone up to 4.23 crore (4,23,38,673). Talking about the daily infection rate, it has come down to only 1 percent, which is a relief news. On the other hand, if we talk about the recovery rate, then it has increased to 98.60 percent.

Corona vaccination figure crosses 177 crores

According to the data available on the Covin portal, till 6 pm on Tuesday, a total of more than 177 crore (1,77,79,92,977) doses of vaccine have been given across the country.

So far, a total of more than 76 crore sample tests have been done.

Giving information, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 7,84,059 sample tests were done for corona virus in India yesterday. At the same time, a total of 76,91,67,052 sample tests have been done in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
