More than Rs 35 crore found
In this raid, a huge amount of cash was recovered from the domestic assistant of PS Sanjeev Lal of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam. After this, ED called for a big machine to count the notes. Let us tell you that through the machine, bundles of 4 notes can be counted at a time. Apart from this, 5 more small note counting machines have been ordered, which are doing the work of counting the notes. Now the counting of these notes has been completed. According to the information received, ED has recovered Rs 35.23 crore from here. This money has been seized and confiscated by ED.
Raids were conducted at 6 places
An ED official had said that raids are going on at 6 places in Ranchi. A huge amount of money has been recovered from the domestic servant of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam’s PS Sanjeev Lal. ED has covered 6 premises linked to the Jharkhand minister and his associates. Let us tell you that this raid was conducted by ED under Chief Engineer of Rural Development Department, Virendra K. Raids have been conducted in the case related to Ram. In February 2023, Chief Engineer Virendra was arrested in a money laundering case.
