A court in Firozabad district on Wednesday issued non-bailable warrants against 12 people, including the brother of Samadhi Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav’s brother-in-law, in a cheating case. In the cheating case, the court has issued a non-bailable warrant for not appearing in the court despite the expiry of the stay order. The plaintiff’s advocate Praveen Kumar Yadav told that in 2018, Virendra Kumar, a resident of Linepar area, had committed fraud against 15 people, including Ram Prakash Yadav alias Nehru, brother of Hari Om Yadav, who had recently joined the BJP, leaving the SP in a relationship. Case was registered.
He said that in the investigation conducted by the police, the names of three people were dropped from the trial, while against the remaining 12, the police had filed a charge sheet in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I Ambareesh Kumar Tripathi. Later, in this case, a stay order was obtained from the High Court by Ram Prakash Yadav and others.
Yadav said that after the expiry of the stay order, everyone was issued a notice by the court and directed them to appear in the court but the accused neither responded to the notice nor approached the court. For this reason, the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, while issuing non-bailable warrants against 12 people including Ram Prakash Yadav, has directed the police to arrest all of them and present them in the court by April 25.
