New Delhi. Corona cases in the country are increasing in many states including Delhi. After receiving 1150 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours, active cases have also increased to 11558. In the midst of all this, Corona has also caught dozens of children in schools in Delhi and Noida. In such a situation, the parents of the children are worried. They are wondering whether to send the children to school or not. Experts have given their opinion on this. Experts say that there is no need to panic if children get infected with corona. He says that the children are getting mild infection.
According to Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS, children were infected earlier during the corona epidemic. Then it was found that children do not have much infection and they get cured with treatment. He says that it is necessary to follow the corona protocol. Masks must also be worn and children who are eligible for vaccination should also be given both doses of the vaccine. According to Dr. Guleria, the parents of children who cannot be vaccinated should not panic too much. Similarly, virologist Dr. Samiran Panda of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) says that children should wear masks and wash their hands in schools.
According to another health expert Dr. C. Laharia, the schools have opened and due to this the parents of the children are very worried. He said that the figures of the earlier sero survey show that about 90 percent of the children were infected during the earlier corona waves. According to Dr. Laharia, most of the children are getting asymptomatic or with mild symptoms. So there is no need to worry much.
