Public dialogue on ‘Our role in preventing child sexual abuse and child trafficking’
Mandsaur (Naiduniya Rep). A one-day public dialogue was organized by the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation in the meeting hall of the Nyaya Seva Sadan of the District Legal Services Authority. In this, on ‘Our role in preventing child sexual abuse and child trafficking’, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Judge Mohd. Rais Khan said that crimes can be curbed completely only if they are stopped at an early stage. The heads of departments who implement the laws need to perform their duty with integrity and honesty. The cases of exploitation are also increasing due to economic inequality in the society. All organizations have to take joint action against child abuse, only then the slogan of safe childhood will be meaningful. Foundation representative Rajiv Bhardwaj said that such an environment should be created in the society so that the victim of exploitation does not feel guilty.
District Advocate Union President Raghuveer Singh Panwar said that the Sangh is ready to cooperate fully in the campaign against child abuse. District Press Club President Brajesh Joshi said that those responsible for protecting the rights of children should perform their duties honestly. Senior journalist Dr. Ghanshyam Batwal said that we all have to work to boost the morale of the families of the children suffering from child abuse. Child Welfare Committee President Shankar Dodiya said that immediate action will be taken if the matter comes to the notice of the Child Welfare Committee. Swadhyaya Manch President Rao Vijay Singh said that the institutions working for the rehabilitation of children should also increase self-confidence along with help. Senior advocate Pukhraj Dashora said that in most cases of child sexual abuse, only the people around him come to the fore. It is very important to wake up the parents to stop them.
Foundation Consultant Mahesh Dubey gave information about the programs and problems. Bachpan Bachao Andolan Consultant Dr. Raghavendrasinh Tomar said that every section of the society should give their participation in the fight for justice by becoming the voice of the oppressed and exploited children. Those who see the exploiters being exploited are also considered guilty. On this occasion, District Legal Aid Officer Yogesh Bansal, Avadhesh Dixit, Child Welfare Committee member Vishwamohan Agarwal, Umrao Singh Jain, Mahila Congress President Rupal Sancheti, Neha Dhakad, Seema Rathore, Dinesh Solanki, Child Line Coordinator Monika Varun and others were present.
