Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Ranchi on Friday evening. During this, supporters gathered in large numbers raised slogans of ‘Modi-Modi’. A large number of people were present on both sides of the road from Hinu Chowk to Ratu Road New Market intersection to get a glimpse of him. PM Modi walked for about two kilometers riding on an open jeep. He was also accompanied by Ranchi BJP MP and candidate Sanjay Seth and Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly Amar Kumar Bauri.

Prime Minister Modi accepted the greetings of people sometimes by shaking hands and sometimes by folding both hands. People showered flowers on him at many places on the way. There were also a large number of women among them. PM Modi had a small cutout of BJP’s election symbol lotus in his hand, showing which he made a silent appeal to vote in favor of the party.

People kept raising slogans of Modi-Modi in the road show. To see PM Modi, people gathered on rooftops, trees, hotels, wherever they could. Many people held pictures and cutouts of PM Modi in their hands. PM Modi reached Ranchi airport at around 6.50 pm. After this his convoy reached Birsa Chowk, where he garlanded the statue of Lord Birsa Munda. There he stood for some time and greeted the people shouting slogans by shaking hands.
PM Modi’s road show for two kilometers
After this, he took part in a road show of about two kilometers from Harmu Bharat Mata Chowk to Ratu Road Chowk. Before the road show in Ranchi, PM Modi addressed a big rally in Chaibasa in support of BJP candidates from Singhbhum and Khunti Lok Sabha constituencies. After the conclusion of the road show, PM Modi reached Raj Bhavan, he will rest for the night at Raj Bhavan and will hold election rallies in Palamu, Lohardaga on Saturday. (Input-IANS)
