Another new player has entered the electric two-wheeler segment in the Indian market. While major automakers are busy introducing their new models in this segment, startups are also rapidly increasing the competition. Now startup Ignitron Motocorp has introduced the country’s first electric cruiser bike Cyborg Yoda.
Ignitron is gearing up to introduce a range of swappable battery powered premium electric bikes under the Cyborg brand. The company will focus on making the safest motorbikes in India and continuously work on innovative ways to improve battery technology and manufacturing processes.
How is the new electric cruiser:
The company has already started production of this electric motorcycle at its plant in Manesar. In the initial phase, the company will produce 40,000 units per annum. A total of 3 bikes will be offered in this vehicle range, which will include vehicles from cruiser, regular and sport segments. These vehicles will fall in the mid and high speed range category.
The Yoda has been given a traditional cruiser design by the company, which comes with Neo-retro styling. It has been given round triple-beam headlamps, circular taillight and indicators. The split style seat along with the teardrop fuel tank along with the wide handlebars make it a pure cruiser bike. In addition, the forward-set footpegs provide a comfortable ride to the driver.

Talking about the features, this bike has features like anti-theft alarm with LED taillights and indicators, backrest for pylon (rear seat passenger), keyless ignition (remote operation), side pannier box, adjustable suspension setup. It has telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear.
Power and Driving Range:Although the company has not yet shared any information about the driving range of this cruiser bike, but media reports are claiming that this bike will give a range of up to 120 km in a single charge. Ignitron is also planning to partner with local vendors for roadside assistance to provide convenience to the customers. The company will also provide a compact home charger that will recharge the battery up to 50 percent in just thirty minutes.
